Cancelled my total knee replacement today, hopped up off the gurney and didn’t sign the understanding and release for surgery… Lots more research and chatting with the orthopedic surgeon before this will take place… now on to lots of painting. Been so involved in the possibility of more mobility and strength, that I got off track and painting took a back burner. Who knew that all the total knee replacement does is eliminate the pain. That’s not a good enough reason for me.
Back in the studio… love it!
About Kat Bryan Wallace
I am a two-dimensional artist and writer working with memories interpreted in paintings, drawings, photographs and my writing. Memory is powerful but not perfect… it changed like a raw photographic image will never return to its original image once changed into a jpeg and our memories, as we remember them, shape us into who we become. Life recycles as we remember the past and evolve. My art is about interpreting life, memories and knowledge, what makes life possible, and how this all will affect the future.
