Marching On…

Well, finished my grandson’s portrait and very pleased with the results. Also finished the small Santiago Tree painting. So new projects/paintings ahead. Working on a watercolor, brought out the portraits I’ve worked on before and reworking them… Since finishing Little Bill’s portrait I realized my dissatisfaction with the ones I’ve done previously so, decided to rework them as well as start some new paintings. Painted quite a bit on my Son’s portrait last week after finishing his son’s portrait. It’s coming along just the way I hoped!

I have drafted a new idea for a contemporary painting and busy building some new canvases for some larger paintings. My wonderful new miter saw is going to be getting some use fairly soon now. Smiling…

About Kat Bryan Wallace

I am a two-dimensional artist and writer working with memories interpreted in paintings, drawings, photographs and my writing. Memory is powerful but not perfect… it changed like a raw photographic image will never return to its original image once changed into a jpeg and our memories, as we remember them, shape us into who we become. Life recycles as we remember the past and evolve. My art is about interpreting life, memories and knowledge, what makes life possible, and how this all will affect the future.
