Studio about moved…

Finally, finally I almost have everything moved to the new space for my studio.  Although it does not have all the natural light and windows one would desire as an artist, at least it has a ton of ceiling lights and I have two OTT lights to direct when I am painting.

It has been quite the job and should be able to be finished by tomorrow.  Only broke one large piece of glass in the frame of a watercolor done by my great Aunt almost 75 years ago.  A bit sad about that but… no niches or damage to the painting itself.  Glass can always be replaced.

My two grandchildren are coming for the weekend… long weekend of four days for my grandson Bill and short weekend of two days for my granddaughter Aven.  So on vacation from any further moving until next week when I finish by attacking the upstairs bedroom getting it ready to be a guest room again.

WOW… can’t believe all the work it has been.  New red, gold and green stripped pillows for the rattan chairs should arrive later this week.  Glad I am almost to the end of this project.

About Kat Bryan Wallace

I am a two-dimensional artist and writer working with memories interpreted in paintings, drawings, photographs and my writing. Memory is powerful but not perfect… it changed like a raw photographic image will never return to its original image once changed into a jpeg and our memories, as we remember them, shape us into who we become. Life recycles as we remember the past and evolve. My art is about interpreting life, memories and knowledge, what makes life possible, and how this all will affect the future.
