Difficult Summer…

Just finished a painting and it is dry enough to put up.  Dean is delighted and likes it better than the last of this particular type.

Two in the hopper… still working on them … a new portrait started and on to the second in my new series.  The painting finished is not part of that body of work.  Just a request from my dear husband that took quite a few months to complete.

Odd summer.  Garden was a total disaster.  We acquired Tomato blight – the same blight spread to most of our vegetables and we lost it all.  Tomato and other vegetable blight is the potato blight that hit Ireland so many years ago.  Garden has been cleaned and we will have to get the soil retested before next summer.  It looks like this:

About Kat Bryan Wallace

I am a two-dimensional artist and writer working with memories interpreted in paintings, drawings, photographs and my writing. Memory is powerful but not perfect… it changed like a raw photographic image will never return to its original image once changed into a jpeg and our memories, as we remember them, shape us into who we become. Life recycles as we remember the past and evolve. My art is about interpreting life, memories and knowledge, what makes life possible, and how this all will affect the future.
