So much going on in the world and personally in my life.  Doing a little painting… started working again on my Ancestors- Minnehaha Park painting (4′ x 6′).  Was stuck for a bit on this one looking for better pictures of the ancestors.  Think I have most looking realistic but need to restructure great, great grandma and Grandpa Charles a bit.

Doing a lot of writing… trying to work through some historical personal regrets and dealing with some extreme grief issues.  And of course, there is the political arena… not a pretty site right now but won’t impose my political beliefs right here and now.  I am questioning what is happening in the world and how we strayed so far from caring about others and our planet.

It’s a scary world that’s for sure.  I have decided to block most of it out temporarily and concentrate on retreat and peace, just for a little bit, just to regain my sense of sensibility and balance.
