February came and is almost gone… so fast!!!

Oh… can’t believe that it is almost March. Where does time disappear?

January and the first part of February were productive with painting and have been doing a lot of watercolor lately. Started with Valentine’s card for my husband and realized how long it has been since I have worked with watercolors and how much I like working with the medium.

Almost finished with my latest Santiago Tree small painting and only finishing touches remain on my LIttle Grandson’s portrait. Thinking ahead to next projects… Wide open world. I have this idea for another contemporary abstract– have been very attracted to certain spring colors lately and THINKING SPRING really really hard. So glad I don’t live in Boston right now with all the repeated snowstorms piling up the white fluff. But really wish we had just a bit more snow itself here and way less frigid cold and icy sidewalks, driveways, and roads.

Come on Spring. Way too cold!

About Kat Bryan Wallace

I am a two-dimensional artist and writer working with memories interpreted in paintings, drawings, photographs and my writing. Memory is powerful but not perfect… it changed like a raw photographic image will never return to its original image once changed into a jpeg and our memories, as we remember them, shape us into who we become. Life recycles as we remember the past and evolve. My art is about interpreting life, memories and knowledge, what makes life possible, and how this all will affect the future.
